I used to worry about giving people rides in my vehicle but now I figure - what the heck - if they don't like it, they don't have to ride with me again.

However, just a tip - keep a fitted sheet (crib or twin size for a bucket seat, double for a bench seat) in a big ziplock baggy - it is quick to throw over the hairy, dirty seat when you suddenly have to transport a non-dog person, it stays on, looks half decent, and can be chucked in the washer. I use them on my living room furniture in reverse - keep it on the couch for hairy dusty dogs, and whip it off when nondog company arrives. I get them from thrift stores for $1.50 each and toss 'em when they look too shabby/stained etc.
If you keep a fabric softener sheet in the ziplock one in the car, it will even help dispell the doggy smell a little.Jeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08231007979360748217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4096637479253298483.post-34216438618341734352010-03-26T06:58:14.957-04:002010-03-26T06:58:14.957-04:00Kristi, you just made my morning! I have tossed around blogging about this for a couple of days but gave in to peer pressure. :)Laura Carsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11752781068707907365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4096637479253298483.post-20051599934823612902010-03-26T03:33:11.361-04:002010-03-26T03:33:11.361-04:00OMG, that is a GREAT story! Well, if it makes you feel better...
I was...LOL! Well, if it makes you feel better...

I was at a Board of Trade lunch a few years ago, and managed to snag an invitation to the ultra-exclusive pre-lunch reception for Michael Dell. You know, the guy who has a little computer company? Anywho, not only is he ultra-successful and all that, but he's gorgeous! I'm introduced to him, we start a discussion about Six Sigma ... and his eyes drift to some stray fibre on my jacket. I pluck it off hastily and he says "Dog hair?" The smart cookie would have nodded and continued on with this very important networking opportunity. But noooo .... I had to confess that it was from a sheep. And God help me, in front of this very nice (important, powerful, magnificent) man I start this rambling blather about the difference between hair sheep and wool sheep. When I segued to the perceptions of parasite resistance, security stepped in and removed me. So yeah ... I get it. :-)Kristihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11610438225632697524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4096637479253298483.post-61376573915234581702010-03-25T21:44:13.940-04:002010-03-25T21:44:13.940-04:00love it!love it!Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09078081307847902603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4096637479253298483.post-29031776670513370202010-03-25T20:42:48.971-04:002010-03-25T20:42:48.971-04:00LOL!LOL!Robin Frenchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14621708016412756722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4096637479253298483.post-27274981356577225392010-03-25T14:05:36.181-04:002010-03-25T14:05:36.181-04:00very funny story!!!very funny story!!!Phantom Ridge Border Collieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13792909167145580032noreply@blogger.com
